For better or worse Nike will make sure they squeeze all the mileage they can out of any theme. When we reported on the “Wear Away” Air Jordan 1 Mid, it came as little surprise that the good folks at Jordan Brand would chase that sneaker with a similarly themed low.
It spouts a white leather foundational layer overlaid at the toe, eye row and wrapping the heel with section that start off black, however that top layer can be removed to reveal electric green underneath. An electric green Jumpman sits atop the black tongue, with Black Swooshes adorning the lateral and medial sides and a Wings logo of the same hue on the rear heel.
Underneath resides a sail midsole and black rubber outsole.
The “Wear Away” Air Jordan 1 Low is imminently anticipated at nike.com and select retail venues.
